Welcome to the Riveting World of Writing, a fantastic place for aspiring authors! Find writing pointers, excerpts of my own work, and more! Do you have, or are you a kid under twelve who has a big imagination and tons of story ideas? Check out the Kid’s Spot for advice! Are you a teen with a passion to be an author? I’ll post my two cents for you in the Teen’s Hangout.

Whatever your age, whatever genre, you shouldn’t be stopped by fear of rejection, or simply not knowing what to do with your imagination.

Enjoy! čÖé

The Girl Behind the Blog: My name is Abby, and I’m a published author. I loved writing ever since I was little. At age nine, I started writing my first book. March of 2014, about four years later, I published my children’s chapter book, “The Adventure of Nutty Oakwood.” (It can be purchased on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Adventure-Nutty-Oakwood-Abby-Mills/dp/1495968359.)

I am now working on more teen/YA novels, with hopes to pursue a ┬ácareer in creative writing. I’m a homeschooler, daydreamer, reader/semi-bookworm, and some classify me as a nerd due to my science fiction adoration (perhaps knowing that I own a sonic screwdriver means something to you?) Anyways, I hope you enjoy my blog, and I hope you find it helpful!

God Bless,

  1. Now I know this looks like the blogger is commenting on her own blog, but this is really her best friend hacking into her computer…don’t worry, she knows I’m on her computer….Abby Mills is an amazing writer, and she has helped me, a young inspiring author myself, come a long way! I love her, and everyone should read her books!!!!! =)

  2. Abby, You are amazing! This is the only way I could figure out how to contact you and I was wondering if you would be interested in me doing a book review on my blog http://www.learningtodanceinthereign.blogspot.com in exchange for a copy of The Adventure of Nutty Oakwood? I would enjoy reading it as well as helping promote your book! I would also post my review on Amazon and Goodreads and anywhere else you would like! By the way, I found out about you on The Rebellion! Thanks for being an inspiration,

Here is a review I have done: http://learningtodanceinthereign.blogspot.com/2014/11/counted-worthy-book-review.html
